Ana Orozco is an architect and spatial designer based between Mexico City and Barcelona. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Innovation and Interactive Environments from BAU, Centre Universitari d'Arts i Disseny de Barcelona.
Her practice spans spatial design, curatorial thinking, and immersive experiences, bringing together architecture, contemporary art, and digital media. She develops concepts for interactive installations, site-specific interventions, and temporary environments, using light, sound, visual media, and responsive technologies to shape meaningful encounters between audiences, artworks, and space.
Working across the fields of art and architecture, she collaborates with cultural institutions, festivals, and creative teams to develop projects that explore perception, technology, and spatial composition. Her approach is driven by narrative, materiality, and the relationship between artistic content and its spatial context.
Her work has been presented internationally at CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona and Llum BCN (Barcelona); FILUX – Festival Internacional de las Luces and Auditorio BB (Mexico City); Bahidorá Festival (Morelos); Akamba Festival (Tequila); and Delphi Theater (Berlin).
